Horrible!!!! My daughter was enrolled in this schoold for 4 weeks. The only reason i gave it the full four weeks was because i wanted to give them a thorough chance in case the first week or two was a fluke. My daughter had been in other preschools, even using the Abeka cirruculum elsewhere so i thought this would be a good fit. However, the teachers didn't really seem to care about my daughters transitioning, putting her in a chair by herself and ignoring her when she cried because she missed me. When she didn't raise her hand before speaking or sit all the way back in her chair (reasonable expectations but behaviors that should be gently taught), they would punish her by making her "hide her eyes", forcing her to start at the floor for a few seconds. Also, there aren't any toys in the center for the most part, it's all class time and teacher led group stuff, very little one on one that i saw. To top it off, the first time my husband picked her up (who hadn't even stepped in the building before), nobody greeted him, nobody stopped him from removing my daughter from her classroom, and he was only asked for ID when he stopped somebody to ask where her folder was. It got to the point where she was not only crying when i dropped her off but was fussing all night about not wanting to go the next day. I would try to turn it around and get her to talk about her teachers but all she would ever say is how unhappy she was. I am all for discipline but it has to be given in a way that would help the child feel good about themselves, not bad. I've since put her in another local center and she is happy and well adjusted there.

Spring Hill Academy is absolutely wonderful. My 4 year old son had a tremendous turn around after attending this school for one week. My son was disrespectful, mischevious, very defiant. He would always TEST authority from other adults now no way. He tells me Jesus is watching everyone. The staff is awesome. They make the learning fun and interesting for all the children. I feel like each child is treated as an individual instead of each child being treated as a whole and that makes a difference. Allow your child to have this experience if you are in this area and you will not be dissapointed.
